- · Company Name: Vemma
- · Business: Network Marketing
Prior to your conclusions about network marketing, give us a chance to explain it from a young people’s perspective. A lot of us have been exposed to the concept of network marketing in a wrong way, thus have negative connotations about it. Mostly because of things we've heard and past experiences of people we know with companies such as Amway, Mary Kay, Herbalife and Avon etc.
So prior to your pre-judgments about network marketing, let us explain its relevance among young people today.
Please check the following opportunity video before reading further:

Vemma is a company that manufactures and sells health and wellness products. The company was started in 2004 by the founder and CEO BK Boreyko. From 2004 up until 2010 the company experienced a slow growth momentum. Why? Because it only had one product – The Vemma Liquid Multivitamin. Vemma is an acronym for Vitamins, Essential Minerals, Mangosteen and Aloe-vera.

Vemma Liquid Multivitamin
But from 2010 BK introduced the Verve product. He took all the vitamins and nutrients in the Liquid Multivitamin, combined it with natural caffeine sourced from a plant called Guarana and made the world’s healthiest energy drink. Dr Oz has had Vemma products 3 times on his show in the past 12 months. Check out Dr. Oz visiting Vemma Head Offices in the video below
So you could be asking, If this is such a good product – why is it not in stores?
This is where the business opportunity comes in. The company adopts a marketing strategy called network marketing. Which in simple terms, is people telling other people about the product. Now with this opportunity provides a platform for people to actually take this as their personal business and earn money. To list a few young people who have done this, google and check them on social media, to further validate my information:
- · Brad Alkazin (age: 28) – $400 000 per month (R4 000 000)
- · Cliff Braun(36) – $200 000 per month (R2 000 000)
- · Alex Morton (24) – $110 000 per month (R1 100 000)
- · Darik Alexander (22) – $ 45 000 per month (R450 000)

And the list goes on. Young people are obtaining financial freedom by the average age of 23 and most are university students studying for a degree. Some have already graduated and are running their Vemma business full time now. i.e Alex Morton, Darik Alexander, Amy Alkazin and Luke Kish etc. .
Solo Nqweni and Anthony Cometa are our personal upline. We are in constant communication with them, helping and guiding the team through every step. We work as a team, its all teamwork from start to grinding to finish, no one is ever alone.
These young people in SA are just starting out, cause the company is still new in the country. Within 24 months from now, people will be making well over R100 000 per month with this business. That's the potential it has and there's no cap or ceiling regarding how much you can make. If you continue pushing the business the income will continue to increase.

Now please understand that when we were still children, we did not tell our parents that we wanted to be network marketers. we never had ambitions of being network marketers. In fact we didn't even know what network marketing was a month ago before we wrote this article. But when introduced to an opportunity to make money, were we going to let it pass us by? Certainly not.
In the famous words of Eric Worre, a multi-millionaire – We are heading towards an economy where people will be pushing their career with a part time business on the side. Specifically the business of network marketing, why? Because a salary just is not enough. People will be saying “I’m an accountant, but I’m also a network marketer.” “I’m a logistics manager but I’m also a network marketer.” “I’m an investment banker but I’m also a network marketer.” “I’m a scientist but I’m also a network marketer.” “I’m earning +-R45 000 salary and making an income of +-R60 000 per month from my network marketing business.”

Why networking marketing? 2 reasons why.
1 – Because old forms of advertising are becoming obsolete. TV ads, radio ads, billboards, magazine ads etc. – all these are becoming outdated. Think of how annoyed you get when an advertisement shows up while you watching TV. Furthermore people watch TV to be entertained nowadays, if an ad pops up, one of two things happen. If it’s funny – you laugh. If it’s thought provoking – you take it in, nod and maybe admire the thinking behind it. But it doesn’t intrigue you to actually go out and purchase product, after all that’s the purpose of an advertisement.
In America there’s a system called AutoHop, people pay +-$10 per month to automatically skip ads that show up on TV. Don’t know about you, but when I watch a video on YouTube and a stupid ad pops up – I’m rapping skip on 2 seconds already, I don’t want to see it. Yet companies are paying for people to see those ads, clearly it’s not working

2nd reason why – Because humans are creatures of habit. Think about this, when you go to the store, you buy the same packet of chips, coldrink, sweets, gum etc. In fact when you do your groceries, you buy the same products every time. So if you saw the Verve energy drink in a store next to a Red Bull, Play or Monster, You would not buy it. True right?
Human habits change through human intervention. This is the reason for network marketing.

Verve Energy Drink
So BK takes all the money he would have spent on TV ads, radio ads, billboards, magazine ads etc. and pays it to the people in Vemma that are running their business, promoting the company and its products. This is the Vemma Business in simple terms – when we promote the company and its products, and get people to buy the products, BK pays us the money he would have spent on TV ads, radio ads, billboards, magazine ads etc.
To most young people between the ages of 18-30, we do network marketing on a daily basis but we are not aware of it. When you watch a movie and you like it, refer your friends to watch it too, they go out and actually watch it. You marketed for that movie but did not get paid for it. When you like a piece of clothing on a friend – “hi friend, where did you get that shirt/jean/sneaker?” Friend: from a shop X in Jozi. Eventually you go out and buy from that same shop, your friend marketed for the shop but he/she did not get paid for it.
Take some time to think about this – how did you find out about Facebook?
Through a friend right? When Facebook was still new, everyone was talking about it. “Hey friend you need to check this out! Go to www.facebook.com, register your profile, invite me and tell other people about it.” And that’s how Facebook spread and became what it is today.
There were no ads about Facebook, it was all word of mouth marketing (network marketing). If Facebook is what it is today, clearly network marketing is working. If Twitter is what it is today, clearly network marketing is working. We, Young people of the 21st century, do network marketing on a daily basis, so why not just get paid for it?
This is why the Vemma business just makes sense. We do network marketing almost every day, Vemma gives us the opportunity to get paid for it - Tell your friends, parents, uncles and aunts about the product and its health benefits, and when they purchase product you get paid for it.
In addition the leverage we have are the people recommending this business:
- · Robert Kiyosaki (Author and Multimillionaire) – speaking at Vemma conventions advising young people to make extra money through this business.
- · Darren Hardy (Publisher and Author of Success Magazine) – writing articles on Success Magazine about the Vemma business and giving success tips at Vemma conventions.
- · Bob Proctor (Author, Multimillionaire and Success Coach) – teaching young people how to make money and speaking at Vemma conventions about the business of network marketing.
- · A recent article came out on Forbes in July 2014 stating that Network Marketing will be the dominating business in the marketing profession in 2015.
Final thoughts:
In June 2014 BK Boreyko won the Executive of the Year Award at the American Business Awards. If you don’t know what that is – it’s the equivalent of The Oscars in business. Steve Jobs won the same award in 2010, and one thing we know about that award is that you have to be a corporate ‘boss’ to win it. Not just any CEO wins that award. If you invested in Apple year 1, even a 1% investment, right now you are smiling from ear to ear when you look at your bank account.
Understand that being part of this Vemma business in South Africa is like being part of Apple year 1, Facebook year 1, Microsoft year 1. Why? Because Vemma is still new in South Africa. The company grew by 89% in profits in 2013, it doesn’t take a good economist to see that if a company grows by 89% you should probably invest in it.
The financial benefits and personal development acquired through this business are amazing. If we were to disregard the money, we are better people now than we used to be before we were introduced to the business. We've learnt time management skills, communication skills, goal setting and planning, and leadership skills. In addition to that we have received a boost in our character growth - we're stronger, wiser, more mentally alert, have a greater self-awareness and have met people who are like-minded, focused, business orientated and who hunger for success and want to make money.
So make a choice.
“The ultimate difference between successful and unsuccessful people is that, both types of people are presented with an opportunity. Unsuccessful people look at the opportunity and make excuses – it’s too good to be true, it’s a scam, something is not right, it’s a pyramid scheme etc. Successful people take the same opportunity and say – there’s no way it’s too good to be true. They attempt it, and through persistence and perseverance achieve success.” – Darik Alexander
